Welcome to Control & Instrumentation Engineering (CIE) Department

We are very delighted that you are here reading these lines about the Department of Control & Instrumentation Engineering, home for excellence in education, research, and strong relationship with the local industry. The Automation and Control option was first introduced as part of the System Engineering Program in 1984. It underwent several revisions and in 2009, it was developed into a full program called Control and Instrumentation System Engineering (CISE). Finally, in July 2021, the Control and Instrumentation Engineering department was established. The department offers BS program in Control and Instrumentation Engineering and MS and PhD programs in System Control Engineering. The offered programs meet international standards in terms of level and contents. We encourage ambitious undergraduate and postgraduate students to join us.
