Abstract
Research is the foundation of problem-solving, and at KFUPM it is now part of every undergraduate degree. This talk introduces the undergraduate research tracks available to students, from RES-100 Introduction to Research to independent, guided, vertically integrated and summer research, and the Research Concentration (CX) with its two-semester undergraduate thesis. It then presents the KFUPM Journal of Undergraduate Research International (JURI): a peer-reviewed, open-access, multidisciplinary journal where undergraduates publish as first authors, with no fees. The talk closes with a practical path from research project to publication.
